Game Play

Gameplay was designed to be fast, forgiving, and immediately fun. This project leans into classic button-masher energy with simple inputs, responsive controls, and clear visual feedback that lets anyone jump in and start playing without a learning curve. Instead of complex combos or heavy strategy, the focus is on exaggerated animations, readable reactions, and satisfying hits that make every match feel lively—even when things get chaotic. It’s lighthearted by design and built to reward experimentation, not perfection.

Characters Made for Chaos

I modeled every character from the ground up in Blender and textured them in Substance Painter, focusing on expressive silhouettes and materials that feel tactile and playful. The goal was to create characters that read instantly in motion, with exaggerated proportions and surface detail that support fast, chaotic gameplay. Each design balances personality and clarity, making sure characters feel distinct, readable, and fun—whether they’re mid-attack or flying across the ring.

Stylized 3D Arenas

I modeled and textured a series of stylized 3D environments in Blender to give each match its own personality and atmosphere and textured them all using Substance Painter 3d. Every arena was built to feel playful and readable first, using exaggerated shapes, and festive details to support fast-paced gameplay without distracting from the action. From icy rings to candy-colored landscapes, the goal was to create distinct backdrops that add character and charm while keeping the focus squarely on the fight.
