I handled front-end development for the Hawkins Construction website, giving the fourth-generation, family-owned heavy civil contractor a site that works as hard as its crews. Built with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS on a headless Drupal CMS, the site pairs a project portfolio organized by sector — transportation, water and utilities, and structures and industrial — with detailed project case studies, a recruiting-focused careers section covering benefits, training, and apprenticeships, and dedicated resources for subcontractors. Bold typography, full-bleed jobsite photography, and responsive layouts carry the brand’s “No Matter What.” attitude across every device.
